The Greasy Wiener – Food Truck of the Week

You do have to give the folks behind The Greasy Wiener credit for truth in advertising. They don’t pretend that their dogs are elegant, healthy or especially cardio-friendly. They tell us, from the git-go, that their red hots are greasy – the way franks are supposed to be. Or as they like to say, “Loads of Fun…In a Bun.”

What kind of fun? Fun that includes the signature all-beef Greasy Wiener, with sautéed onions, mustard and a pickle – either regular or spicy as you wish. There’s also the Bacon Chili Cheesy, The Greasy Hippie (a veggie dog) and The Package Meal (a Greasy Wiener with fries and a drink). The guys behind the Weiner say they’ll be introducing a new product soon called an Iggy, but they won’t say what it is. However we feel pretty confident in predicting that…it will be greasy.
